Does PowerWord use my creative prose to train your AI models?

No. Absolutely not. You privacy is of paramount importance to us. PowerWord’s AI models are fully trained and, unlike other platforms,  we do not use your data, words, prose, or creatives to train our models.

Even further, PowerWord permanently deletes our log files on a 30-day rotating basis. 



You store my card information for later use. Is my payment and card data secure with PowerWord?

Absolutely. PowerWord partners with Stripe for payment processing. As such, we never store any card information on our servers. Payment processing is handled in full compliance with PCI standards.



Why is what I am charged different than the text that is processed?

Your copy pasted into the original text window is just an estimate of the processing cost. PowerWord simply gives this to you as a reference of about what your proofreading cost will be.

Your actual cost in words (tokens) is what is returned from the AI and this is what you are actually charged for.

If you requested PowerWord to rewrite a paragraph, for instance, the actual paragraph might be slightly or vastly smaller or larger.

The cost is, again, based on what PowerWord returns as completed text.



What if I am dissatisfied with what PowerWord returns? Do I still have to pay for it?

Yes. Working with AI is never an exact science which is why PowerWord is such an affordable service. We anticipate authors and writers submitting texts over and over to achieve whatever desired results.

Most books can be proofread and edited with great accuracy for around $25 to $50 depending upon length and your use of the PowerWord service.

There is also a substantial discount for purchasing word points (tokens) with a subscription.



How do I cancel my subscription?

PowerWord makes cancelling your subscription easy. Simply visit the My Account > Subscription tab and click the cancel link. A confirmation button will appear. Click “Confirm Cancellation” and your subscription will automatically cancel and not renew.



My subscription renewed before I could cancel. Can I get a refund?

Absolutely. Just contact the PowerWord support team for a full refund. No questions asked. But please do tell us why you’re cancelling so that we know how to make PowerWord even better!
